Milled from solid billet aluminum, this component is incredibly durable. It features a knurled tank base for easy removal when it's time to drain the spent oil, along with an O-ring seal to prevent leaks. The filtering mechanism employs a fine mesh stainless steel screen that captures small oil vapors. These vapors are released only when they are heavy enough to fall. Afterward, they pass through a 1\/2\" thick, 1\/16\" aluminum honeycomb filter, allowing them to grow even larger before they settle at the bottom. By the time the oil makes it through the filter, it is too heavy to be reintroduced into the intake. The tank has a capacity of 3 ounces. While this may not seem like a lot, you shouldn't expect to see that much oil in your PCV system.
