On the OEM model, the stock camshafts limit one of two intake valves on the Z's low end RPM band to improve fuel efficiency. What this kit does is keep both valves open to improve low end power and torque. With this upgrade you can also expect your redline to increase to 7000 RPM, with VTEC reached at 5300 RPM.
