These Nissan 350Z cars were the focus of the design, tuning, and dyno testing of this air intake system. For exceptional air flow, filtration, and performance, two larger AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filters are used to introduce air into the system. Heat shields that are intended to lower intake air temperature and boost horsepower cover the air filters, which are housed in the original air box spaces. The intake tubes are made of mandrel-bent aluminum with a tough powder-coated gunmetal gray finish. This air intake system was designed to work with the engine's factory emissions control components, such as the crankcase vent tube and mass air flow sensors.
