Your exhaust changes how your car sounds—and its tips are part of the rear view every time you walk up to it. AWE’s new Vapor Blue options bring a distinctive finish to select Honda Civic and Acura Integra exhaust systems.
At Kami Speed, you can now explore Vapor Blue configurations for the Civic Type R, Civic Si, Integra, and Integra Type S. Here’s how to narrow down the right setup for your build.
What is AWE Vapor Blue?
Vapor Blue is AWE’s blue exhaust-tip finish, offered on select Touring and Track Edition systems. The tips feature double-walled, slash-cut stainless steel construction, a stamped AWE logo, and individual adjustment to position them at the bumper.
The finish gives you another styling option. Your vehicle, exhaust edition, and existing modifications determine the system’s fitment and sound.
Start with your platform
These exhaust systems are application-specific. A Civic Si system and a Civic Type R system are not interchangeable, and the standard Integra and Integra Type S require different configurations.
| Platform | Vapor Blue tip configuration |
|---|---|
| FL5 Civic Type R | Triple 4.5-inch tips |
| FK8 Civic Type R | Triple 4.5-inch tips |
| DE5 Integra Type S | Triple 4.5-inch tips |
| FE1 Civic Si / DE4 Integra | Dual 5-inch tips |
| FC1 sedan / FC3 coupe Civic Si | Dual or triple 4.5-inch tips |
Match the model year, chassis, and exact product application before ordering. If you already have an aftermarket downpipe or other exhaust components, check compatibility with the complete setup.
Touring or Track: which suits your driving?
For a car you drive regularly, cabin sound deserves as much attention as the acceleration clip.
Touring Edition systems feature AWE’s 180 Technology to address exhaust drone. If your car handles commuting, highway trips, and weekend drives, start by comparing the Touring option for your platform.
Track Edition systems take a more direct approach to sound, without the Touring Edition’s rear 180 Technology sections. Expect a louder experience and more cabin sound. Listen carefully before choosing: AWE excludes Track Edition returns based on sound preference.
When comparing recordings, use clips of your actual platform. A system paired with an aftermarket downpipe can sound different from the same exhaust on a car with the factory downpipe. Cold starts, acceleration, and steady highway cruising also tell you different things.

Already have an AWE exhaust?
Check your existing exhaust part number before ordering a conversion or replacement component. Matching tip diameter alone does not confirm compatibility.
For FC1/FC3 Civic Si owners, Kami Speed also lists the AWE dual-to-triple Vapor Blue tip conversion. This requires a compatible AWE exhaust; it is not a complete exhaust system.
Caring for Vapor Blue tips
AWE specifies mild soap and water for cleaning Vapor Blue tips. Avoid harsh cleaners and AWE Tip Tonic. The Vapor Blue finish is excluded from AWE’s finish warranty; review the manufacturer’s current terms before purchase.
